Angus Soft Fruits’ realised that the UK is a very over-crowded market, so it explored and developed new markets outside mainland UK. It sent fruit to the continent and for the first time exported to a new partner in Hong Kong. With an increased customer portfolio and repertoire of products it was essential to maintain efficiency to remain competitive. It revised its operational and IT processes to better align with a more complex group of customers.
This simple plan, a motivated team and an innovative approach to the food service market ensured it hit its goals and established strong partnerships for the future.
